What transits are and what they affect
A transit compares a celestial body’s calculated current position with positions in a natal chart. An aspect is the angular distance between them; the orb is its distance from the exact angle, and an applying aspect is moving closer to exact. Astrology uses this as a symbolic language for reflecting on a period’s themes. There is no scientific evidence that transits cause events or determine behaviour; treat an interpretation as a prompt for reflection, not an instruction or guarantee.
